--Colossians 4:6, Matthew 5:13-16
"You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
--- Matthew 5:13-16
--Colossians 4:5-6, Matthew 7:12, Ephesians 4:32, Philippians 2:3-4, Galatians 5:14, 1 Peter 3:8-9, Proverbs 25:21-22, 1 Thessalonians 5:15, James 2:8
"Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person."
--- Colossians 4:5-6 NASB
Those who cannot let go of the world will take the mark of the beast. We need to embrace the reality of the end times and place our eternal lives in the hands of the LORD.
Jesus chastised the first-year tribulation church for having "left your first love." (Revelation 2:4 NASB) If Jesus is not first in your life, repent!
Jesus chastised the fourth-year tribulation church for eating "food sacrificed to idols" (Revelation 2:20 NASB). I believe this is food obtained from taking the mark of the beast.
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?"
--- Matthew 24:45
