Prayerfully Thank God for His Promises
Faith is welcoming and confessing the promises of God from a distance. -from Hebrews 11:13
Here are a few of God's Promises. Search out the scriptures for all of His promises and use them in your daily
prayers with a greatful, thankful heart.
When you are having trouble:
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in
trouble." -- --Proverbs 46:1
When your not sure about the future:
"For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans for welfare and not for calamity to
give you a future and
a hope." --Jeremiah 29:11
When you feel like no one listens to you:
"Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell great and
mighty [hidden] things which you do not know."
--Jeremiah 33:3
When you feel unloved:
"But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us." --Romans 5:8
When you are afraid:
"When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You." --Psalm 56:3
"Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the onslaught of the
wicked when it comes; For the Lord will be your confidence
and will keep you foot from being caught." --Proverbs 3:25-26
"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For
the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become
my salvation." --Isaiah 12:2
"Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you.
declares the Lord" --Jeremiah 1:8
death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your
staff, they comfort me." --Psalm 23:4
When you feel lonely:
Jesus said, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to
you" --John 14:18
"for He Himself has said, I will never desert you, nor will I
ever forsake you, so that we confidently say, The Lord is my
helper, I will not be afraid, what will man do to me?"

When life is overwhelming:
"...casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you."

When you need answers:
"Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell great and

When you are anxious:
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and

known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all
comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus." --Philippians 4:6-7
When you face trials:
"Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various
trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces
endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that
you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
--James 1:2-4
When you need forgiveness:
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive
us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
--1 John1:9
