-- 2 Timothy 3:13
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
--- 1 Corinthians 16:13
Many read these warning but do not fully understand why it is so important especially in the end times. It is because it will be so easy to "fall into sin" and to "fall away from the Lord" due to "deception", "greed", and "persecution". (we know these 3 reasons from seed parable) We need earnest on-our-face-praying during these treacherous times that we not fall victim to the schemes of the devil. It is VERY IMPORTANT that we maintain our TESTIMONY and focused prayer life (Luke 22:46). We must "stay awake at all times, praying" ( Luke 21:34,36). Many will not endure the difficult times ahead. We will need to be walking in the power of the Holy Spirit not to fall into temptation to sin.
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
